The Golden 'Red Comet' Hyakushiki
1/100 Master Grade Hyakushiki + Ballute System
2007 BAKUC Singapore Entry

Here comes the much awaited Hyakushiki, with a hell lot of details and attitude! The MS piloted by Char Aznable, or Casval Rem Deikun, or Quattro Vageena, whatever name you can think for him! The only golden mobile suit to appear in the Universal Century era, marking the 100th prototype produced, thus it is called 'Type 100'. This is one excellent kit, without any modification needed for the kit at all, so I did a lot of detailing to make it look good. The gold color was the main problem, as I do not want it to be too gold, so I had to use a grey base coat to make the gold more dull, giving it a much darker and 'evil' look. Now, time for the elaboration of details :

1. Head
No particular detailing, except that the auxilliary camera and the eyes (or should I say, the uncanny sunglasses of Quattro...) I used the decals given.

2. Shoulders
A lot of detailing is done on the shoulders. On the front and back, there is the very obvious parts where it can be seen that there is uneveness. I used plastic sheets to paste onto it and carved lines to make it look as though the shoulder armor is all separated instead of one whole piece. The top part of the armor also has a line carved onto it. As for the small 'flap' on the side of the armor, each has two small plastic sheets stick onto it for detailing.

2. Chest
The chest is slightly different, as I had purposely made it a bit uneven so that it will look different. Firstly, I used a layer of grey paint, but this layer, the mixture in the start cannot be thin. It must be a little thick, so when you spray onto the surface, the overall feel is uneven instead of the normal smoother surface. This layer is important, because if my Nato Black was to be the thicker mixture, the overall feel will be bad paintwork instead of the uneven feel. The magazine taught using putty for uneven, but I managed to find another weirder way to get this uneven feel =D
There are also plastic sheets placed on some areas for additional detailing.

3. Arms
On the biceps of both arms, I have aded plastic sheets onto it for detailing. For the back of the forearms, I have added two small pieces of plastic for additional detailing.

4. Skirt Armor
For the front skirt armor, I carved a line on each armor for deatiling as it seems too plain. A small piece of plastic piece is also added on the top part of the skirt armor. For the back armor, there are also panel lines added for detailing. The side skirt armor also has plastic sheets added on it, just like how I added onto the shoulder armor.

5. Legs
Plastic sheets as usual is added on the knee cap, calf and the feet, even the back of the calf. The overall is too plain, thus I hae to add a lot of plastic sheets around to balance it with the upper torso.

6. Wings
Plastic sheets were added on both side of each wing, and also panel lines carved. This is to ensure a balance in the detailing of the overall mecha.

The mega bazooka came from 'Master Grade 1/100 Zeta Gundam ver 2.0'. The color scheme is similar to the Hazel Owsla, using Blue and Grey to mix together, getting this color.
