This is one of the best MGs I have ever seen in the MG lineup. The details are insane especially the
wing area, making it much better then the PG version. The very first time it touched down to Singapore, it was sold out, so
I have to wait for a month to get my hands on this monster. I never did any customization, because there is almost no places
to customize! Now let's get down to business on what I did to it.
The head, as usual, has to be puttied due
to the joining of the 2 pieces together. The shoulder area, forearms, the joints of the elbows, knees and ankles have to be
puttied. The wing had the most problems as, if I am not wrong, the feathers uses the polycap type because it is very soft
and flexible, so when removing it from the tree, it is rather troublesome to remove the little bit of plastic left on it,
so I used sandpaper to slowly sand it away. After all this, there is nothing else to do with the kit.
These
are the paint I used on the model:
Tamiya Paint:
-Gun Metal
-Gloss Red
-Gloss
Blue
-Gloss Black
Flat Base (to mix with the paint so it won't be so shiny)
Hobby
Color:
-Flat White
-Fluorescent Green
I used a 0.05 pen to draw the
panel lines, Tamiya basic putty for the covering of seam lines.
