You can't really tell about the changes I have made, but if you compare it with the uncustomized one, you will know why.
There are numerous changes I have made to Deathscythe Hell:
 |
Arms |
 |
Active Cloak |
 |
Feet |
 |
Hands |
 |
Head Antenna |
1.Arms
I didn't really do a lot of customization, but it is enough to make it look good and pose better. The inner
part of the shoulder on the left arm was obstructing the arm to b lifted up to it's current level, so I used a pen knife and
slowly scrapped away until the arm is able to be lifted up to 180 degrees.
On the forearm, I covered the holes where the peg of the shield is used to join it to the arm, using putty.
Since I will not be putting the shield up, I found it useless to leave the hole there, so might as well.
2.Active Cloak
You can't really see the changes I have made, so without putting up the close up pictures, please understand.
On the front part of the active cloak, I sharpened the ends. If you compare it with the original Deathscythe
Hell, you will be able to see the difference. The both sides of the cloak had also been sharpened. This gives Deathscythe
Hell a sharper and more demonic look.
3.Feet
I did the least customization to the feet, mainly be sharpening the front part and the 2 claws jutting out in
front of the foot.
4.Hands
I used the 1/144 EX-S Gundam's hand manipulator for the left hand. I sharpened the ends so it will look like
claws instead. I used putty to cover the upper part of the hand and made it look like Deathscythe Hell's hand. The right hand
is still the same hand from Deathscythe Hell, but the fingers are also sharpened.
5.Head Antenna
Just a little customization is done. I sharpened the antenna and that's all.
For the paint, I used Tamiya Acrylic Paint and Hobby Color. The colors are as follows:
Tamyia- Flat Black
-Flat Red
-Red
-Flat Yellow
-Dark Grey
-Metallic Dark Grey
-Chrome Silver
Hobby Color- Flat White
I used the Tamiya chrome silver to create the battle scarred effect on Deathscythe Hell (only the black areas
can't be seen clearly). Well, I am still trying to make the battle scars better but I haven't got any ideas on that yet. I
used gloss red to paint the eyes and the camera on the forehead (can't b seen). A 0.1 pen was used to draw the panel lines.
